Laurel Serra, CPP, has over 22 years of payroll industry experience, specializing in Professional Employer Organizations, implementations, wage withholdings, business continuity planning, team management, higher education, union administration, state pensions, and year-end processing.
After becoming a member of PayrollOrg in 2014, she contributed to several committees and led Palm Beach State College to win the 2018 Best Practices Overall Prism Award.
In 2020, she joined the education team at PayrollOrg as a Director of Payroll Training and, in 2023, began leading the team as the Director of Education Services. Laurel frequently speaks on topics such as social media, best practices, unions, wage withholdings, business continuity, compliance updates, and generational leadership. Her greatest accomplishment in this role is helping others advance their professional careers and achieve certification.
