Trish Westbrook, BA, PLP, CPP is the Manager, Payroll and HR Processing for ATCO in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role encompasses oversight over Canadian, US and International payroll for its 6000 employees.
Inspired by the art of possibility, Trish enjoys problem solving and thinking outside the box while having
many successes leading teams, implementations and upgrade projects while overseeing payroll
operations. In pursuit of personal and professional excellence she is dedicated to raising the profile of Payroll. Trish is
an instructor of the PCP designation courses at the Northern Institute of Technology (NAIT) to bolster
opportunities and bring inspiration to others during their own payroll journey. In addition to instruction,
Trish is one of the professional development speakers on various topics on behalf of the National Payroll
Institute. Trish gives back to the payroll community and volunteers her time as the Vice Chair of the Payroll
Standards Council of Canada and other payroll committees and councils. Her dedication awarded her
and fellow committee members of the Education Advisory Council the 2021 and 2022 Board of Directors
Award from the National Payroll Institute.
