Sherisse Mason is a seasoned human resources and payroll governance leader whose career spans more than two decades of dedicated public service, professional education and organizational excellence.
As the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Pay and Benefits Services Division within the Treasury Board Secretariat, Sherisse brings a deep blend of HR expertise, payroll leadership and strategic advisory experience to one of Canada’s largest public sector employers, the Ontario Public Service.
Sherisse has been an active volunteer with the National Payroll Institute since 2003. Over the years, she has contributed to numerous task forces and committees and served nine years on the Board of Directors, including as Chair for the 2021–2022 term.
In addition to her governance work, Sherisse has been an instructor and facilitator for the Institute’s designation programs and professional development seminars since 2006, helping to shape and elevate the next generation of payroll professionals.
